Are you concerned about the negative effect that alcohol and other drugs, gangs and other threats are having on the health of your community? There is a way to organize your community around the goal of making it safe, healthy and drug-free: it's called a community coalition.  Partnership Carson City is our community’s coalition.

What does your coalition do?  PCC connects multiple sectors of the community, including families, businesses, media, law enforcement, schools, faith organizations, health providers, social service agencies, and our local government.

By working as a team through the coalition, the partners each bring a piece of the puzzle together to gain a more complete understanding of the community's problems. Together, the partners organize and develop plans and programs to coordinate their efforts. The result is a comprehensive, community-wide approach to ensuring the safety and health of our community.
